COMPOSITION
California poppy (Eschscholzia californica) helps regulate the phases of sleep and prolongs deep sleep. It has the reputation of being a non-addictive alternative to the Opium Poppy, though it is less powerful. It has been used as a sedative and hypnotic for children, when they are overly excited or experience sleeplessness. It can be employed wherever an anti-spasmodic remedy is required. The Native Americans used it for colic pain, and it may be useful in the treatment of gall-bladder colic.
Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium) is used for migraines and to reduce sensitivity to noise and light. It is also employed to reduce fever and to treat headaches, arthritis and digestive problems. This is a very traditional natural herb widely grown in gardens in Europe and America.
Littleleaf linden (Tilia cordata Mill) has spasmolytic and light sedative effects. It is also known to be somewhat diaphoretic and expectorant, to reduce blood pressure, and to act as a laxative.
ACTION/EFFECTS
Mistik reduces tiredness, feelings of stress, and sensitivity to noise and light.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Mistik is not recommended for pregnant or lactating (breast feeding) women, or persons with high sensitivity to its components.
