COMPOSITION
Borage oil (Oleum Borago officinalis) is an important of source of gamma linolenic acid (GLA) which provides essential Omega-6 fatty acids important for healthy skin, heart, circulation, and nerves. GLA is taken by women pre-menstrually and for the maintenance of joint mobility. Many people in Western societies may be partially GLA-deficient as a result of aging, glucose intolerance, and dietary fat intake. Borage oil is derived from the seeds of the borage plant (Borago officinalis).
Wheat germ oil is an excellent source of Octacosanol, an alcohol fatty acid naturally occurring in wheat germ. Wheat germ oil is also a good source of Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E. Wheat germ is believed to improve colon function, nourish the skin, lower cholesterol and boost the immune system.
