Feed Not Harm

Has your child suddenly turned too "difficult"? Does he/she smear the teacher's chair with glue? Has his/her progress at school slumped? Unfortunately, this is not a passing thing and it will not clear up of its own accord. The attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), the main reason for this, is a young but already "much-talked of" disease. According to the recent Dutch study, the ADHD development is relevant to the child's diet.

Children with ADHD often find it difficult to spend some substantial time sitting down and concentrate on the tasks requiring intellectual efforts.

This irritates those around him/her and for the child it is fraught with troubles at school and in relations with classmates. Of course, no normal parent wants to see such a diagnose in the beloved offspring's medical history. Still, a lot of children the world over have already become the victims of that disease. So, what causes ADHD and is it possible to avoid it?

Who Is in the Risk Group

Previously, it was believed that neurosis and heredity are to blame for everything. But latest finds show that food plays an enormous role in the ADHD development. Or, to be more specific, that role is played by food-borne allergens. These days, alas, the numbers of allergy-prone children are increasing. So, the risk group is constantly expanding as well.

Eating or Getting Ill?

stat deti korm1How was the information about the link between nutrition and hyperactivity disorder obtained? The researchers conducting the experiment provided diets for the children with controlled content of evident food-borne allergen – immunoglobulin G (IgG). Half of the children got the diets with the minimal IgG content, while the other half continued to eat as they used to at home.
In the experiment the clear connection was found between the diet type and the children's mental activities. Those tested from the first group became more diligent and concentrated on school tasks better. But after the diet completion all the achievements "evaporated" very soon.

Still, no matter how good the dietary interference method is, it is important to realize that the strict anti-allergic diet control inevitably leads to the nutrition getting poorer and less diverse. As a result, the growing child's organism fails to get sufficient beneficial substances.

Diet with the Right To Live

stat deti korm2So, you start to strictly control your child's diet thus minimizing the ADHD risk but at the same time you deprive his/her organism of many substances beneficial for health and development (vitamins, macro- and microelements). After all, what are responsible parents to choose – the complete nutrition for their child or the ADHD risk?

Sure, all risks of diseases should be minimized. But at the same time it is absolutely necessary to solve the problem of the child's organism growing qualitatively and developing against the background of such constraints. In other words, you have to provide all required nutrients from "independent sources" of no risk as for allergy.

One of such reliable and proven sources is provided by bioactive food supplements aimed at compensating for the vitamin and mineral shortage in nutrition. Vision has developed a series of food supplements specially for children. Those are such highly effective products as Junior+, Junior Be Big, Junior Be Healthy, Junior Be Wise, Junior Be Smart, Junior Be Strong and Junior Be Chocolate.
Those products will help caring parents bring up their child healthy without exposing him/her to the food allergy risk and the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder relevant to it.
